The typical Scottish Fold/Shorthair is a little more out going than the British Shorthair and likes to be involved in everything you are doing.

 

A wounderful family cat with a very cheeky attitude. The Scottish are very playful and love to have a chat, but they also don’t mind having a little time to themselves.

 

The Scottish Fold/Shorthair body is a medium size, round, even from shoulder to pelvic gridle, body should be well padded, the cat should stand firm on medium legs, toes should be neat and well rounded. The tail is flexible, medium in length and thick at the base. The head is massive and round, set on a short thick neck. The ears should be wide apart and show a definite fold line. The eyes are round, full and set wide apart with a sweet expression. The Scottish Fold/Shorthair coat should be thick, dense and short and soft.

 

The Scottish Fold/Shorthair also have a very loving temperament.
